Japanese pull saw (Dozuki) (1336) In Stock Now

The Japanese pull saw or nokogiri is a saw used for woodworking projects that cuts on the pull stroke rather than the push. The benefits of the Japanese pull saw is the narrower, more precise cut the tool can help achieve. The use of a vice grip is recommended when using this kind of saw, as the pulling motion makes it more difficult to apply bodyweight to keep the wood steady. This saw is best used on softer woods such as cypress and pine. This variety, the dozuki, is perfect for detail work, and has a removable blade. Please do be careful when removing the serrated blade, here is a video on how do safely do this-
